Samsonite Padded Laptop Messenger Bag Colombian Leather? Brown

This bag is confusing me a little. I thought it was leather as that is what the info online says but the inside tags says new materials. It’s the kind of tag you see on a pillow or mattress so it makes me question if that’s just the padding inside.
As a result I can’t confirm the material this is.
It’s a beautiful bag. It is a dark brown color. It leather conditioned nicely but my guess is it’s faux at this point. There are a few nicks here and there. The brass hardware has a nice patina. The bag is very soft inside and out. Perfect to protect a laptop, tablet or other small devices.
I may miss lint, etc inside or on the strap especially. The strap is removable and ships inside the bag. The strap has a few nicks on it as well most are hidden between the strap and shoulder pad.
There maybe little flaws or nicks I’m missing.
